CULTIVATION OF CUSTARD-APPLE IRRIGATED WITH SALINE WATER UNDER COMBINATIONS OF NITROGEN, PHOSPHORUS AND POTASSIUM

ABSTRACT The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect combinations nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium doses on production components custard-apple irrigated with saline waters. experiment conducted in a greenhouse, using Neossolo Regolítico (Entisol) clay loam texture Campina Grande-PB, Brazil. treatments were distributed randomized block design, 2 × 8 factorial scheme, three replicates, corresponding two levels electrical conductivity water - ECw (0.8 3.0 dS m-1) eight fertilization phosphorus (100-100-100; 100-100-125; 100-125-100; 100-125-125; 125-100-100; 125-100-125; 125-125-100 125-125-125% recommendation, for third year cultivation). combination 100-100-100% corresponded 100, 60 g N, P2O5, K2O per plant year, respectively. High concentrations salts irrigation reduced number fruits, fresh fruit mass, total seeds mass custard-apple. Plants achieved best development when grown under 125-100-100, 125-125-125 N-P-K recommendation. Irrigation m-1 associated 100-125-125% increased average height fruits.
